Job Overview
The Head of Sales & Partnerships will be responsible for driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and scaling our sales operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a key role in shaping our sales strategy, expanding our client base, and establishing long-term partnerships with SMBs, agencies, and large brands across all industries nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth goals and revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, setting clear KPIs and ensuring accountability.
- Identify new markets and customer segments, driving sales initiatives to expand market share.
- Business Development and Partnerships
- Establish and nurture high-impact partnerships with publishers and advertisers including brands, agencies, media companies, and SMBs
- Drive new business development by identifying and approaching key industry players.
- Negotiate and close high-value deals, establishing long-term relationships and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Account Management and Customer Success
- Oversee account management efforts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Ensure clients are fully supported and derive maximum value from our offerings, driving renewals and upsells.
- Market Analysis and Insights
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
- Provide insights to guide product development and ensure our solutions meet market demands.
- Regularly report on sales performance, partnership progress, and revenue targets to the executive team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in advertising, media, or digital marketing, with a strong understanding of programmatic advertising and industry trends.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with expertise in closing high-value deals and managing client relationships.
- Leadership Skills: Experience leading a sales team and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Communication: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and adapt to a rapidly changing market.
- Execution: We are looking for someone who can execute, lead, and deliver outstanding results—not just another C-level executive.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with the latest tools, platforms, and metrics; comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
